Overview
This page defines the core typological profile used in the project:
- Socionics: SLI (RU: СЛИ; UK: СЛІ; legacy Socionics: ISTp; MBTI-like: ISTP, approximate only; Delta)
- Psychosophy: ELVF (RU: ЭЛВФ; UK: ЕЛВФ)
- Temporistics: EPNF (RU: ВПНБ; UK: Вч-Ми-Тп-Мб)
The profile is treated as a latent-process hypothesis, not as a fixed destiny, a description of the whole person, or a job assignment. Every pattern below is a proposition to compare with observed behavior and alternative explanations. Applied profiling is separated into dedicated pages:
- Civilian Career Case — SLI + ELVF + EPNF Hypothesis — civilian career profile
Research Goal
This page is a reference profile, not only a recommendation page. Its job is to:
- separate Socionics, Psychosophy, and Temporistics cleanly
- show which claims are source-backed and which are school-specific
- record where Socionics schools disagree
- define a neutral typological core before applying it to a particular context
Raw Profile
- Socionics: SLI (RU: СЛИ; UK: СЛІ; legacy Socionics: ISTp; MBTI-like: ISTP, approximate only)
- Psychosophy: ELVF (RU: ЭЛВФ; UK: ЕЛВФ)
- Temporistics: EPNF (RU: ВПНБ; UK: Вч-Ми-Тп-Мб)
- Known civilian background: DevOps, used only as external evidence in the applied civilian profile
Code convention: this English page uses English codes as primary. Russian and Ukrainian equivalents are shown in parentheses where useful. See Typology Code Conventions.
Typological Group Memberships
This profile belongs to three larger typological groups. These group memberships summarize a proposed orientation only; they do not establish abilities or role fit. Applied role translation belongs in contextual application pages.
| System | Group | Group logic | Core orientation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Socionics | Delta quadra | valued Si + Te + Fi + Ne: practical usefulness, stable conditions, personal trust, non-dramatic improvement |
utility, trust, stable improvement |
| Psychosophy | 1st sexta / 1st quadra (unofficial grouping) | orientation toward inner backbone, simplification, directness, and structuring | clarification, simplification, directness |
| Temporistics | Conductors tetra (RU: Проводники; UK: Провідники) | Future + Eternity: route plus meaning, direction plus mission |
meaningful continuity and route-orientation |
Core pattern:
- Delta points to practical usefulness, stable conditions, personal trust, and non-dramatic improvement.
- 1st Psychosophy sexta/quadra points to structural clarification rather than status theater. This is an unofficial grouping, not an original Afanasyev term.
- Conductors tetra points to meaning-bearing continuity rather than empty motion.
Therefore the neutral core pattern is meaningful reliability: preference for useful systems, clear structure, continuity, and a visible reason why the work matters. Specific role translation is handled outside this core page.
System Boundaries
| Question | Primary system | What not to confuse it with |
|---|---|---|
| Which distinctions a partial information model retains and how it may update them? | Socionics | not Psychosophy work-style dynamics |
| How action, pressure, support, and role distribution are handled? | Psychosophy | not Socionics IM elements |
| How meaning, direction, and time horizon are organized? | Temporistics | not Socionics intuition or Psychosophy will |
| What role fits current labor market structure? | ESCO / role catalog | not typology alone |
Practical rule:
- if the claim is about cognition and information exchange, start from Socionics
- if the claim is about pressure, self-assertion, and work-style pain points, start from Psychosophy
- if the claim is about meaning, continuity, and trajectory, start from Temporistics
Full Typology Breakdown
1. Socionics
Type: SLI (RU: СЛИ; UK: СЛІ; legacy Socionics: ISTp; MBTI-like: ISTP, approximate only; Delta)
Quadra
- Delta values: knowledge, services, harmony, time
- Practical implication: stable utility, low-drama support, service through systems
Information Elements
In the BWB reconstruction, all eight aspects concern partial, revisable representations of one shared reality. An aspect proposes what distinctions are retained and what operation is performed; a Model A position proposes how that operation is used. See Socionics as a Hypothesis of Latent Reality Modeling.
- Si integrates simultaneous conditions and their effects on state, quality, and environmental fit.
- Te connects actions and methods to observed changes and outcomes, revising procedures from feedback.
- Fi represents relatively stable subjective relations: attraction, significance, need, distance, and acceptability.
- Ne infers hidden properties and possible realizations of an object while preserving unrealized potential.
Model A
| Position | Aspect operation | Proposed position mode |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Si: integrate simultaneous conditions and their effects on state, quality, and environmental fit | stable foreground framing |
| 2 | Te: connect actions and methods to observed changes and outcomes; update procedure from feedback | flexible situational production |
| 3 | Ni: organize successive processes into trajectory, temporal relations, pace, and transitions | norm-guided, effortful use |
| 4 | Fe: track internal dynamics of arousal and state through expressed reactions and their spread | least stable under pressure; not an inability |
| 5 | Ne: infer hidden properties and possible realizations while preserving unrealized potential | valued, externally scaffolded intake |
| 6 | Fi: represent stable subjective relations, significance, distance, and acceptability | supported or activated development |
| 7 | Se: assess present force, form, boundaries, resistance, and direct impact | background monitoring; not an ability score |
| 8 | Ti: build objective structural relations, classifications, constraints, and invariants | automatic background production in school terminology, not an ability score |
Blocks
| Block | Functions | Meaning for this profile |
|---|---|---|
| Ego | 1Si, 2Te | proposed foreground and flexible use of condition-integration and feedback-based method revision |
| Super-Ego | 3Ni, 4Fe | proposed norm-guided and least-stable modes for trajectory and expressed-state dynamics |
| Super-Id | 5Ne, 6Fi | proposed externally scaffolded and developing modes for possibilities and stable relations |
| Id | 7Se, 8Ti | proposed background modes for force/boundaries and structural invariants |
School strength / weakness labels
- Strong: 1Si, 2Te, 7Se, 8Ti
- Weak: 3Ni, 4Fe, 5Ne, 6Fi
These are inherited Model A labels. They describe hypothesized information-processing conditions inside that school; they do not establish competence, talent, intelligence, or a general deficit. Every claim still requires task evidence and comparison with training, role, culture, health, stress, and context.
Conscious / Unconscious
- Conscious: 1Si, 2Te, 3Ni, 4Fe
- Unconscious: 5Ne, 6Fi, 7Se, 8Ti
Practical reading:
- conscious zone is where effort and self-observation happen
- unconscious zone works more automatically and is harder to verbalize directly
Valued / Unvalued
- Valued: Si, Te, Ne, Fi
- Unvalued: Ni, Fe, Se, Ti
Practical reading:
- this profile tends to appreciate practical support, useful alternatives, and stable personal trust more than emotional pressure, prestige force, or abstract structure for its own sake
Mental / Vital
- Mental ring: 1Si, 2Te, 3Ni, 4Fe
- Vital ring: 5Ne, 6Fi, 7Se, 8Ti
Practical reading:
- the mental ring is where the profile actively explains and frames experience
- the vital ring is where reactions are more backgrounded, embodied, and less deliberately articulated
Accepting / Producing
- Accepting: 1Si, 3Ni, 5Ne, 7Se
- Producing: 2Te, 4Fe, 6Fi, 8Ti
Research reading: the accepting/producing distinction is a school hypothesis about information-flow order. It does not establish that the person will notice, fix, optimize, or implement successfully in a real task.
Inert / Contact
- Inert: 1Si, 4Fe, 5Ne, 8Ti
- Contact: 2Te, 3Ni, 6Fi, 7Se
Practical reading:
- inert parts prefer stable contours and do not like being jerked around
- contact parts engage more situationally and can adapt when the task demands it
Function Signs
- In the Wikisocion plus/minus convention, function signs are a school-specific layer.
- This page does not use plus/minus signs for practical recommendations. Any role-fit hypothesis would require behavioral evidence and a contextual role catalog in addition to Model A.
Practical reading:
- this is a school-specific layer, not a universal Socionics fact
Dimensional Consequences By Function
Dimensionality is retained here only as an attributed school layer: 1Si—4D, 2Te—3D, 3Ni—2D, 4Fe—1D, 5Ne—1D, 6Fi—2D, 7Se—3D, 8Ti—4D. It does not convert an aspect operation into capacity, expertise, task performance, career fit, or deficit. Any proposed consequence must be tested with comparable tasks and disconfirmed against expertise, role, language, health, stress, culture, and context. The operation × position-mode map above is the active BWB reading.
Model A Caveat
- The profile page now includes source-backed function dichotomies and dimensionality.
- Function signs are acknowledged as a Wikisocion plus/minus convention, but are not used here as a practical recommendation layer.
Socionics Takeaway
- research question: whether Si condition-integration and Te feedback-based method revision recur in the proposed foreground/flexible modes
- competing evidence: direct work samples, training, role expectations, health, stress, language, culture, and context
- non-inference: the SLI code does not establish technical ability, work style, or occupational fit
- neither claim establishes ability or role fit without behavioral and contextual evidence

Notes:
- The first four are the Jungian foundation and are the most stable.
- The rest follow the Wikisocion Reinin table for
SLI. - Reinin traits beyond the Jungian foundation should be treated more cautiously in applied typing.
- In the current project source set, some schools explicitly dispute parts of the Reinin layer.
School Disagreements
Socionics
| Topic | Classical / Wikisocion | Imperative Socionics / alternate school | Project handling |
|---|---|---|---|
| Reinin dichotomies | accepted as a classical layer, though usefulness is questioned | some pairs treated as false traits | keep with confidence labels |
| Aristocratic / Democratic | SLI = aristocratic |
disputed as part of false-trait critique | use as school-dependent |
| Process / Result | SLI = result |
disputed as false trait | use as school-dependent |
| Asking / Declaring | SLI = asking |
disputed as false trait | use as school-dependent |
| Positivist / Negativist | SLI = positivist |
disputed as false trait | use as school-dependent |
| Plus / minus signs | valid in some traditions | not universal | store only as convention-specific |
Psychosophy
- The current page uses fixed type, quadra, and position logic.
- Accentuation is not typed and therefore remains open.
- 1E in Psychosophy is not the same as Fe strength in Socionics. See Emotion vs Ethics Boundary.
Temporistics
- Tetra and position meanings are used as source-backed where available.
- Broader applied conclusions remain more exploratory than the core type labels.
2. Psychosophy
Type: ELVF (RU: ЭЛВФ; UK: ЕЛВФ)
Quadra
- 1st sexta / 1st quadra (unofficial grouping)
- strong orientation toward backbone, simplification, and direct structuring
Aspects
- E: emotional mobilization and expression
- L: working logic, structure, explanation
- V: will/pressure, responsibility, status tension
- F: material comfort and bodily load
Positions
| Position | Aspect | Practical meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | E | strong emotional presence and mobilization |
| 2 | L | strong working logic and structure-building |
| 3 | V | sensitive zone: coercion, hierarchy, proving yourself |
| 4 | F | prefers not to center life on bodily hardship |
Accentuation Notes
- No separate accentuation has been typed yet.
- Most important observed constraint: 3V should not be over-pressed.
- Hypothesis to test: clear tasks, low humiliation, technical usefulness, and explicit feedback may reduce avoidable strain.
Psychosophy Takeaway
- hypothesized resource: clear communication and work structuring
- hypothesized tension: contexts organized around constant domination, forced assertion, or physical hardship
- these are qualitative prompts, not role-selection rules
3. Temporistics
Type: EPNF (RU: ВПНБ; UK: Вч-Ми-Тп-Мб)
Tetra
- Conductors (RU: Проводники)
- core implication: meaning and route are interpreted together
Tetra Role: Conductors
The Conductors tetra is defined by the pair Future + Eternity (EN: F + E; RU: Б + В; UK: Мб + Вч). In Temporistics terms, this combines:
- Eternity: meaning, worldview, principles, and the question of what a system ultimately serves
- Future: route, direction, movement, and the question of where the system is going
Therefore the tetra signal is not just continuity. It is meaning-bearing direction: the profile tends to interpret routes, plans, and movement through the question of what larger meaning they carry.
Applied consequences differ by context and are handled in:
Aspect Order
- E: Eternity, meaning, ethos, overarching orientation (RU: В; UK: Вч)
- P: Past, experience, memory, precedent (RU: П; UK: Ми)
- N: Present/Now, current field, immediate situation (RU: Н; UK: Тп)
- F: Future, movement, direction (RU: Б; UK: Мб)
Position Meaning
| Position | Aspect | Practical meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | E | self-generates meaning, worldview, principles, and existential justification |
| 2 | P | uses experience, precedent, history, logs, and institutional memory as working material |
| 3 | N | painful search for concrete place, role, belonging, and contact with the real present |
| 4 | F | follows externally framed future objectives more easily than self-inventing long-range direction |
Temporistics Core Takeaway
- meaning, continuity, place, and future direction are not separate concerns for this profile
- the profile tends to seek a visible why behind a route or plan
- present-role ambiguity is more sensitive than abstract meaning itself
Temporistics Position Consequences
1E — First Eternity / Guru (RU: 1В; UK: 1Вч)
- The central need is not just continuity or clear direction, but meaning.
- Work and duty are likely evaluated through the question: "Why does this matter? What larger order does it serve?"
- Empty execution or prestige-only activity may feel motivationally thin even when the task is technically possible.
2P — Second Past / Chronicler (RU: 2П; UK: 2Ми)
- Uses history, precedent, records, accumulated examples, and remembered failures as working material.
- Learns from precedent and tends to value not repeating known mistakes.
3N — Third Present / Exile (RU: 3Н; UK: 3Тп)
- The core issue is not just chaos. It is the painful question: "Where is my place here, and am I really included in what is happening?"
- The Present is perceived through contact and interaction; 3N needs a concrete role, recognized place, and real participation in the current field.
- Chaotic real-time pressure can be sensitive when it destroys role clarity and contact with the current field.
- Applied role-risk conclusions belong in a contextual profile, not in this core typological page.
4F — Fourth Future / Passenger (RU: 4Б; UK: 4Мб)
- Future direction is easier when given as an external frame: mission, roadmap, command priority, incident objective, or product strategy.
- The core issue is not inability to think about the future, but lower motivation to invent abstract long-range direction without an external frame.
Core Signals
Socionics signal
- evidence about what is selected, preserved after compression, inferred, and updated for all eight aspect operations
- separate evidence about each proposed Model A position mode
- errors, counterexamples, and rival explanations across comparable contexts
- no technical-ability, temperament, or work-style conclusion from
SLIalone
Psychosophy signal
- 1E: can mobilize and communicate emotionally when needed
- 2L: strong working logic and structure-building
- 3V: sensitive to coercive pressure, status fights, and forced domination
- 4F: avoids making hardship or bodily discomfort the main point of the role
Emotion / Ethics Boundary
- Psychosophy 1E means emotional state and expression are primary operational material: the profile can set tone from its own emotional frame.
- Socionics 4Fe proposes a least-stable-under-pressure mode for tracking expressed-state dynamics; it does not establish emotional inability or dislike.
- The two hypotheses are not logically contradictory, but neither can explain observed expression without direct evidence and alternatives.
Temporistics signal
- meaning-first orientation: work must connect to a larger why
- continuity and procession matter, but only as carriers of meaningful purpose
- 2P supports learning from incidents, history, logs, runbooks, and precedent
- 3N warns against exile inside the current situation: unclear place, undefined role, poor belonging, and chaotic present-pressure without concrete contact
- 4F works best when future objectives are externally framed as mission, SLA, roadmap, or command priority
- a possible tension to check is a chaotic context with no stable narrative or convincing reason to endure it
Known Skill History: DevOps
DevOps is recorded as known skill history, not as part of the type itself.
Use it only as an external evidence input in applied profiles:
- Civilian Career Case — SLI + ELVF + EPNF Hypothesis asks how this background translates into civilian labor-market roles.
Applied Profile Separation
This core profile does not make placement recommendations. An application must add evidence that is absent from the typological description:
| Applied profile | Primary non-typological evidence | Why separate |
|---|---|---|
| Civilian Career Case — SLI + ELVF + EPNF Hypothesis | demonstrated skills, labor market, ESCO-style role families, DevOps history, company culture | careers depend on performance, market demand, team culture, compensation, constraints, and chosen growth path |
Shared typological signal:
- meaningful technical reliability
- practical systems sense
- strong working logic
- sensitivity to coercive pressure and unclear present-role placement
An applied profile may ask which market roles deserve investigation, but it must compare the hypothesis with work samples, experience, health, preferences, constraints, and actual team conditions. It must not convert the composite code into a role verdict.
Application Boundary
The core page stops at typological pattern description. It cannot decide where a person should work or serve.
Use applied pages for placement questions:
- Civilian Career Case — SLI + ELVF + EPNF Hypothesis for civilian career strategy, job titles, team-culture fit, and labor-market positioning
Summary
- Core hypothesis: SLI + ELVF + EPNF may be summarized as a pattern of meaningful technical reliability.
- Civilian application: see Civilian Career Case — SLI + ELVF + EPNF Hypothesis.
- Main constraint: do not collapse type, observed skill, context, and career choice into one recommendation.
