Christian Before We Build is the first developed specialization of the universal framework. It offers a weak-AI-supported conversation map for Christian discernment before serious shared decisions. It interprets the foundation through Christ, Scripture, observable fruit, church community, and mature counsel while retaining consent and safety gates.

Definition and scope

The application helps an individual or pair prepare questions, name disagreement, distinguish certainty from uncertainty, and identify wise next steps. It is not the whole research project, a dating oracle, pastoral office, spiritual diagnosis, or substitute for accountable community.

Shared example

For relocation, the application asks how biblical obligations to spouse, dependant, church, work, truth, and stewardship bear on the choice; how the pair understands vocation and time; how responsibilities will be carried; and whether information and consent are adequate.

What can be observed

The map can record stated beliefs, cited texts, advice received, decisions, conduct, repair, areas of agreement, unresolved questions, and whether each person can participate freely.

What remains a hypothesis

The three typological lenses may help generate additional questions about direction, action, and information. Their interpretations remain optional research hypotheses subordinate to Scripture-grounded normative discernment and real evidence.

Alternative explanations

A disagreement attributed to type may instead concern doctrine, conscience, sin, wisdom, trauma, skill, resources, church culture, or an unsafe power imbalance. The application must route these possibilities correctly.

What must not be inferred

No profile establishes faith, salvation, sanctification, calling, permission to marry, guilt, innocence, abuse, or God's hidden will. AI may summarize, organize, and propose questions; it may not simulate or predict a person.

Questions for conversation

  • Which biblical commitments govern this decision?
  • Which observations show fruit, responsibility, repentance, and repair over time?
  • Where is mature pastoral or professional help required?
  • Can both people disagree, pause, and seek help safely?

For a researcher

Keep theological validity, pastoral usefulness, psychological measurement, and product usability as distinct evaluation questions. Record harms and false confidence, not only engagement.
